Finally, here are the results of The CCNNJ 2020 UN-Matched Match Show! (Our apologies for the delay but CCNNJ's Production Supervisor experienced some technical difficulties.)
Undaunted by unique ring patterns and interesting video styles, Judge Joe Reno did an amazing job.
Thank you, Joe! Thank you, too, Lauren Anderson for putting together the video for us to enjoy.
And, with entries from as far away as TX, WV, MD and, of course, NJ, special thanks to all the exhibitors
for entering their pretty puppies to make the first ever 2020 CCNNJ UN-Matched Match Show a great success.
Both handlers and videographers did an outstanding job of showing their dogs in these isolated times.
Watch the mailbox for your ribbons.
Congratulations to Best in Match Winner "Corey" from the 6-9 Month Bitch Class and to breeders/owners Mary Robischon, Rose Robischon, Mary Jackson, Susan Delorenzo!
The CCNNJ visit to the Albert Payson Terhune school on 11/1/17 was a huge success. Gerrie Oliver with Molly and Riggs, Leigh Cohen with Gabby and Bailey, Susie DeLorenzo with puppy Maddie and Elizabeth Smith with Andre met with 270 Kindergarten thru Second grade students in one session and nearly 200 Third thru Fifth grade students in the second session. We were outside on a drizzly day. Had thought we'd be inside the gym so no one was dressed properly except the collies. However, it turned out okay since there were so many kids. We were each stationed at a far corner of the playground. Dogs were great. One by one classes marched outside and made a big circle around each dog. They were full of praise and questions. One we liked in particular was "How do you know if he's a boy?" Oh, dear! we told him it was easy since boys are bigger! We did have to keep asking them to take a giant step back since dogs were a bit overwhelmed with so many hands reaching out to touch. Teachers were very grateful. One student exclaimed that it was the best day at school--ever! Found out it was the principal's first day!!! He took it all in stride and seemed to enjoy it. He even took a group photo with the dogs.
